Gelmax Water Soluble Pouch

The GelMax pouches are a single use pouch that will absorb up to 600ml, or 20 ounces of bodily fluids or laboratory chemicals. Use them for spills, urinals, suction containers, vials, emesis basins and collection pails. Simply drop a pouch onto the spill or into the container, use as many as needed to absorb the spill. The pouch covering will dissolve and the super absorbent powder inside will convert the fluids into a gel mass. The resulting gel mass reduces odors produced by the fluids.

Use for urine, blood, and organic liquids. For floor spills, the gel material can be easily swept up for disposal. The pouches can be added to a container to absorb the contents for easier and safer transport to the disposal area. Helps prevent the spread of potential pathogens, decreasing the risk of direct or indirect contact by hospital staff.
